But dam it, I will! Because it is probably one of the best things that has happened to Emerald, apart from our own family's migration here ;)
It has been a long wait since it was damaged by the floods earlier in the year. But now it's finally here, better than ever! It's so bright, fresh, modern and wonderful. It's great going in there and feeling like you're not in a little country town, but in a nice city... say Brisbane?! Anyway, It's the talk of the town at the moment... "have you been to Coles yet?" or "How good is Coles!?" Hmmm... it doesn't take much to get us all excited around here.
Even Joe is so keen to go there all the time. It doesn't take a lot of nagging when I need something these days, he's simply out the door with a "I'll get it at Coles!" Or today for example, everything was closed for Emerald's show day holiday... but not Coles, and you should've seen Joe's face light up when I told him that! Gotta love him.
Anyway, I thought I'd take some pictures of the new Coles centre, but then I realised how silly I would look and decided not too. Instead, I got some pics of the kids getting some free face painting on grand opening day...
Noah opted for just a little star on his hand after he saw what Elly looked like. |

Couldn't stop laughing at the comment on Noah's photo, so funny! They did do a good job on El though:)
ReplyDeletehaha i was just laughing at the same thing! hillarious...plus the comment of coles literally being a tourist attraction, could imagine you with the camera going wild, you should have done it! lol i bet he quickly changed his mind ...They really did a good job - she could have starred in the "CATS" musical with that little design!
