For instance, this is just a little snippet of what I mean...
Elly: "Mum, this is a princess crown. 'It needs a lot more detail before it can be completed..."
See what I mean? Don't 4 year olds (and even most adults) usually say "stuff" rather than "detail?" Or say "finished" or "done" instead of "completed?" Well, that's what I was thinking anyway, and just as I was about to ask her how old she really is, Elly dropped one of the jewls she was placing on the crown, and says, "Oh, you little rascal!"
So just like that, my question was answered. She was still my cheeky little 4 year old, Elly belly.
I guess with that grown up talk also comes grown up looks cause she seriously looks so much older in these pics. She will have to give Isabella some English lessons :) Isabella will definitely need them. I must say that's some pretty interesting playdough creations - does Elly have your creativity skills with arts?
ReplyDeletep.s love the jacket!
Love this girl! she's so clever and cheeky, maybe we should name her Rafiki after the monkey in The Lion King :) India is obsessed with play dough too, cant wait for them to be able to play with and occupy each other this Christmas! i say we set up a play dough station and let them go nuts!!!
