| My dessert! |
I got to enjoy an early birthday present courtesy of our good friends Cassie and Jared on Friday Night. They offered to look after Noah and Elly so that Joe and I could enjoy a night out for my birthday. Isn't that lovely! The best president a mother of 2.5 could ever ask for.
We decided to go to the 'Capricornian' restaurant for a nice dinner. It is one of my favourite dining places here in Emerald, and it's just a little bit fancy. So it was nice to get a little dressed up and enjoy some kid free time, eat sloooowly, and have nice, meaningful and uninterrupted conversations.

Ps. Note to self- now that Noah doesn't nap, ensure that he does squeeze one in when planning on keeping him up late. Lets just say I left Cassie with a little ticking time bomb! Whoopsies.
